My daughter lives in Sendai, Japan and had just finished lunch at a restaurant on 3-11-11 when the 9.0 earthquake struck. The video was made by Hiroki, a 15 yo friend of the family. The video starts after the quake had already been going on for a while and stops prior to the end of the quake. Tiffany pulled her 4 yo son across the table to help comfort him prior to the video starting. Note the changes in the intensity of the quake and the loss of electrical power. The area where this video was taken was not affected by the tsunami.
