Barrier to block a nuclear accident or industrial aftershocks from the earthquake in Japan?
In the United States, nuclear energy and uranium mining is common. In fact, a $ 154 million of uranium mining, construction and maintenance of nuclear power plants is a $ 4.5 billion industry and the nuclear industry is a $ 33.2 billion. Add these industries together and it becomes clear that nuclear activities are a big business in America. Approximately 20.2% of electricity from U.S. nuclear power generation as well as Vermont, with 72.3% of its electricityNuclear power. Meanwhile, reports New Jersey 55.1%, 53.4%, Connecticut, South Carolina, 52.0% and 48.7% in Illinois. And 'safe to say that U.S. consumers rely on nuclear energy.
