県内死者200人超す 東日本大震災 東北地方太平洋地震に伴う大規模災害「東日本大震災」の本県被害（12日午前11時現在）は死者２０２人、行方不明２１４人以上に上っている。被害は全国に広がっており、９都府県で死者は５００人を超え、行方不明者は約７００人となっている。停電や断水などライフラインも復旧は遅れ、交通機関もまひ状況が続いている。 陸前高田市は５千世帯が被災。高田町、気仙町、米崎町など市街地が広範囲で水没し壊滅状態だ。大船渡市では死者３１人が確認され、避難者は５千人以上、家屋３００棟が倒壊し、流失。 乗用車数十台と漁船、建物が流された釜石市では死者不明１５０人以上。宮古市は死者５人負傷者多数。久慈市では石油備蓄基地の屋外タンクが津波で破損した。 東北電力岩手支店によると、県内全域の約77万戸の停電は続いている。復旧の見通しは立っていない。停電などのため断水も広がっている。 東北新幹線や県内のＪＲ、三陸鉄道、ＩＧＲいわて銀河鉄道は全線がストップ。高速道も一部を除き通行止めとなっている。 県は宮古市、大船渡市など沿岸12市町村に災害救助法が適用されたと発表。秋田、山形、埼玉、福井県などの緊急消防援助隊が沿岸部を中心に支援活動をしている。応援ヘリの出動も要請している。 医療関係では県は消防学校に第二次災害医療拠点を設置。ヘリで広域搬送をしている。 自衛隊も救出活動や消火、給水活動に当たっている。各市町村も避難所の維持のほか、毛布やカイロ、食料や水の配布をしている。
